Questions
What boards and managers ask
What does it cost?
The monthly figure depends on the acreage, the number of entries and ponds, gates and access, and the scope the board chooses. We set it after the walk, and it comes in the packet.
How soon can you start, and how long is a visit?
The start date is the one your board sets. Visit length depends on the route, and the scope table lists the crew size and the day.
Are you licensed and insured?
The footer lists our registration, our fertilizer certificate and our insurance. A certificate of insurance goes to your manager before the first visit.
What happens at the walk?
We walk the grounds with a board member or your manager, mark the scope map, and note gates, ponds and anything the board wants changed.
How do we pay?
One monthly invoice follows the scope table, sent to your manager. Methods of payment are listed on the invoice.
What happens when it rains or a storm is coming?
Rained-out visits are made up on the next dry day. After a storm warning we clear walks, entries and the clubhouse lot first and send a list of what needs a bid.
What should the community do before the crew arrives?
Post the notice your manager receives, keep cars off the curb on trimming days, and make sure gates open or the guard has our list.
Which areas do you serve?
Orange, Seminole, Osceola and the eastern edge of Lake County. The service area page lists the towns and the places we do not go.
Do you speak Spanish?
Reinaldo, Ileana and several crew leads do. Reports, notices and the phone line work in both languages.
Can you take over from our current vendor?
Yes. Send the current contract and we match it line by line against the scope table.
Do you treat pond algae?
No. Algae and aquatic plants go to a licensed pond vendor. We trim the bank and tell your manager what we see.
Who talks to residents?
Your manager does. We write the notices in both languages and the office points residents' questions back to the manager.
Still have a question?
Call, text or send the form. Ileana answers.
